I could be wrong but it feels like a backlash to the ever-growing pairing of Frank/Matt, like the Foggy and/or Matt/Foggy shippers are a little pissed about Matt being paired so often with Frank and don't want Foggy to be left out so they're pushing (imo, the most hilariously unbelievable pairing of) Frank/Foggy. They don't interact in the comics and it's not like they could actually even tolerate each other and those prompts didn't show up until Frank was announced in DD s2 and they really started showing up when Charlie and Jon were shown to be cuties together at NYCC. But who knows, maybe somebody thinks Elden and Jon make a cute couple? Idefk lol.
